TACTUS <\/strong>started as a subsidiary of Kongsiri Tannery Co., Ltd, which had been doing tannery for mostly foreign customers for about 40 years before realizing the opportunity to run the business in a retail market with no minimum order rather than basing the business on the traditional retail practice of requiring a large number of product orders with the goal of being a true designer of leather products.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

“WITH CREATORS” is the workflow that can be found in many TACTUS production processes, such as gathering feedback and suggestions from customers to apply to product development, while leather\u2019s know-how classes are also organized to educate customers. These will produce the best results when designers and general customers work together to create leather that is appropriate for the desired functionality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customer feedback is the key factor in the development of TACTUS products. Due to the fact that the parent company is a tannery, customers can communicate directly with the factory, and as a result, TACTUS can always develop new products that satisfy\u00a0customers’ needs. Furthermore, the company constantly supports development in order to stay ahead of trends and innovations by sending the R&D team overseas at least four times a year to update the latest trends in leather products. Aside from that, TACTUS also places a strong emphasis on long-term innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stay happy at home<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many people are being encouraged to work and spend more time at home as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. TACTUS prefers to see everyone happy at home, so the company has developed the soft and touchable leather known as “Homer,” in a variety of colors ranging from black to pastel, which consumers can purchase all at once from the warehouse, avoiding the need for customers to waste time waiting for the product to be finished. Homer is not costly, nor is its quality comparable to that of imported leather. When customers sit on Homer’s sofa or chair, they will feel more relaxed and happier.<\/p>\n\n\n
