After a hiatus from the Architect Expo due to the COVID-19 pandemic, prompt & bendi-BANGKOK is making a highly anticipated return, ready to impress attendees with a fresh new image. Known for its minimalist furniture under bendi-BANGKOK and modern designs from prompt, the brand is a familiar name among design enthusiasts.
During an intimate conversation at the bendi-BANGKOK showroom, surrounded by Scandinavian-modern wooden furniture, Khun Mana Kaewmoracharoen, Managing Director of Prompt Contract Furniture Co., Ltd., shared insights into the brand’s philosophy and upcoming showcase.

prompt & bendi BANGKOK: A Perfect Balance of Distinction
Prompt & bendi-BANGKOK, a brand under Prompt Contract Furniture Co., Ltd., began as an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) for Japanese furniture companies for over 30 years before establishing its own brands: Prompt and bendi-BANGKOK. The two brands differ in their focus. Prompt specializes in commercial furniture with Japanese and Modern Italian styles, making it ideal for restaurants and business establishments. Bendi-BANGKOK emphasizes design craftsmanship, blending advanced technology gained from the COVID-19 pandemic with Scandinavian aesthetics to cater to home and lifestyle spaces. While both brands share similarities, their design essence and user experience set them apart.

Uncompromising Standards and Versatility in Every Space
The furniture industry is fiercely competitive, yet prompt & bendi-BANGKOK continues to thrive. Manah attributes this to expertise in quality and standards, Khun Mana stated that,
“Designers who prioritize quality and materials choose us because we provide unparalleled craftsmanship. For instance, our wood-bending technique is unique in Thailand—no one else can do it like we do.”
Instead of cutting and joining wood pieces to achieve curvature, prompt & bendi-BANGKOK employs a special steaming technique, maintaining the wood’s natural integrity while ensuring durability. Beyond design, the brand aligns with ESG principles and Green Construction, reflecting its commitment to sustainability and safety. As an OEM supplier for Japanese brands, the company adheres to strict safety standards. Materials must be FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified, and adhesives and coatings undergo formaldehyde and FFC 16 testing to ensure minimal environmental impact.
Sustainable Innovation in Design
“Our goal is to create durable products. Even when integrated into construction projects, our furniture maintains its quality. We also use advanced wood-bending technology to design ultra-thin yet structurally strong pieces,” explained Khun Mana.
The company sources premium woods, including beech, ash, and oak from Europe, all FSC-certified, along with rubberwood from Thailand, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable materials.
