YKK AP(Thailand) ready to build on its success with latest products at Architect’25

YKK AP, a brand of aluminum doors, comes back with products from YKK AP Thailand at Architect’25. This year is even more special with outstanding product quality and new products for visitors to experience by themselves. Before we meet again at Architect’25, we invite you to experience quality doors, along with ideas from the interview with Khun Thananporn Thanomsirisilp, General Manager, YKK AP Co., Ltd.

Building on experiences to meet needs

Architect’24 has helped the brand reach wider audiences, both architects and end-users who wish to build their own house, we would like to thank for interested in our products” Khun Thananporn shared her experience from last year’s event.

The feedback from Architect’24 has allowed YKK AP to communicate directly with the target group, both end-users and property project.. In addition, the brand believes that doors and windows must be experienced by yourself to be confident in the products.

Moreover, YKK AP is concerned about social trends as sustainability, which is a trend that end-users are interested in regarding the environment. Align with  aluminum material from YKK AP’s door and window panels, which can be recycled in every piece, and does not cause pollution.

In addition, the coming of the aging society in Thailand has an impact on how the target noticed an important of doors and windows, namely, safety is a factor that they pay more attention to. Similarly, YKK AP has design an equipment such as, door grip to reduce weight and ensure the open or close of doors and windows is smooth. This is to meet the needs of users of all ages. Another feature of YKK AP products is the installation of threshold which emphasizes on making sure the doors and the floor are on the same level so that wheelchairs can slide through. Such installation can solve the pain points that customers encounter as a house is not built for only the young, but it is a place where family members of various ages spend time together. In the future, when these people grow older, they can continue using the products for years without having to change the structure.

Increase efficiency and elevate the real estate industry

Quality products help develop the real estate industry. YKK AP doors and windows are different from most doors and windows on the market in terms of ‘sealing’ as they are sealed with the same type of rubber as automotive seal. Therefore, upon opening and closing, the door and rail will be air tight, which also reduce surrounded noise up to 25 decibels. In addition, even though YKK AP is a brand from Japan, in terms of product design, it is different from the ones on the Japanese market because the brand has to take into account different climates and other issues to best fit the conditions in South East Asia , such as rain, hot weather, wind, and PM 2.5 problems.

“YKK AP’s doors sold in Thailand will not be the same as those sold in Japan because Thailand faces heavier rain than Japan. Therefore, the products designed by the brand must be suitable for this climate.”

Introducing new highlighted products to accommodate lifestyle

When talking about the highlights that YKK AP will showcase at Architect’25, aluminum doors and windows, the brand’s main products, would be presented in a new design, but still maintain the core of aluminum, while adding tricks and designs to make them more suitable for home decoration. Adding gimmicks, and more color to the house than before, which Khun Thananporn has further explained on a new product line that will be displayed at Architect’25, such as carports imported from Japan.

Check out aluminum doors and windows from YKK AP Thailand at booth No. D301 at Architect’25, the 37th ASEAN’s Largest Building Technology Exposition during 29 April – 4 May, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.
