TPS Garden Furniture Showcases Wood Innovation and Smart Living Systems at Architect’26

For TPS Garden Furniture Co., Ltd., Architect’26 represents an opportunity to clearly position its integrated material and system offerings for residential interiors. These range from wood flooring and wall systems to Smart Living technologies that enhance everyday living.

Apiwitt Phongsphetrarat, Assistant Managing Director, explains that while the company previously introduced a broad overview of its product directions, this year focuses on presenting each product line in greater detail. The aim is to enable architects and developers to better understand the real-world applications of these materials and systems, particularly in terms of installation efficiency, on-site quality control, and design flexibility.

Wall Craft by Woodden: A System Designed to Overcome On-Site Limitations

One of the key highlights this year is Wall Craft, a wall system developed under the Woodden brand. Building on concepts introduced previously, this iteration presents a more comprehensive view of the system, including its structural framework, installation methodology, and practical applications.

Apiwitt notes that traditional interior construction often faces challenges such as reliance on craftsmanship, extended installation timelines, and inconsistent quality control across different sites. Wall Craft addresses these issues by offering a prefabricated wall system designed with a step-by-step approach, covering everything from corner detailing and panel connections to overall finishing.

With all components designed to function as an integrated system, installation becomes faster, quality standards are easier to control, and the risk of on-site discrepancies is significantly reduced.

From a design perspective, Wall Craft offers a variety of series that create different spatial atmospheres. These range from textile-like finishes and wood panel aesthetics to surfaces that resemble specialty coatings, allowing designers to achieve diverse visual expressions while maintaining systemized execution from start to finish.

Wood Materials: Performance and Environmental Responsibility

Woodden’s core product category, wood flooring, includes both solid wood and engineered wood, all derived from natural materials with inherent advantages in production processes.

Wood naturally absorbs and stores carbon during its growth cycle. In addition, the energy required to process wood into usable materials is significantly lower than that for steel, cement, or aluminum. As a result, the overall carbon footprint across the production lifecycle is comparatively lower in many cases.

At the installation level, the company also prioritizes supporting materials. Adhesives used for flooring are specified at E0 grade, ensuring extremely low VOC emissions. Coatings and finishing systems are selected to minimize odors during installation and reduce the accumulation of airborne pollutants within interior environments.

For Woodden, the value of wood extends beyond its visual and tactile qualities. It encompasses production efficiency, installation consistency, and long-term environmental impact within living spaces.

Smart Living: Technology Integrated with Design

Another key offering at this year’s exhibition is Smart Living, covering both Smart Home and Smart Lock systems that enhance convenience and security within residential environments.

In the Smart Home category, the primary brand is LifeSmart, a globally recognized provider of wireless systems known for their stability. Its closed-system architecture ensures reliable performance while supporting a wide range of residential applications.

Additionally, the SUBLIME sub-brand stands out for its customization capabilities. Designers can select materials, colors, textures, and functional configurations for control panels, allowing Smart Home systems to become fully integrated elements of interior design rather than add-on technologies.

In the Smart Lock segment, brands such as LOCKIN and Uplive are introduced to enhance security, access control, and spatial management within homes. These systems create a seamless connection between technological infrastructure and everyday living.

Adapting to a Challenging Economic Landscape

Amid economic slowdowns in certain sectors, particularly the condominium market with high inventory levels, the company views the situation as both a challenge and an opportunity to rethink its approach.

Rather than waiting for market recovery, TPS Garden Furniture has focused on expanding its product range and developing solutions that help designers and developers work more efficiently. This includes improvements in cost management, project timelines, and quality control.

This strategic shift is not simply about adding new products, but about redefining the company’s role to better align with evolving market needs and to provide more flexible options for professionals in the design and construction industries.
