Over the past several years, the Architect exhibition has become a clear reflection of the shifts taking place in the construction and trade industries — not only in terms of new tool innovations, but in how tools must increasingly deliver on real-world performance. DEWALT is one of the brands that has grown steadily alongside that transformation.

Mr. Jarin Setthachayanon, General Manager of Black & Decker (Thailand) Co., Ltd., shared that based on results from Architect’25, the brand received consistently positive feedback and has seen growth year after year. The primary visitors to the booth remain tradespeople, contractors, and hands-on users — a clear reflection that the Architect exhibition is precisely the right platform for professional-grade tools.
Architect’26: A Stage for Innovation, Not Just Sales
Compared to other home and building materials fairs, Mr. Jarin sees the Architect exhibition as distinctly different. General trade fairs tend to focus primarily on selling products, whereas the Architect exhibition is a space for launching new products and technologies, and for booth designs that communicate a brand’s innovative direction in a way that is immediately clear to visitors.
DEWALT therefore places significant importance on booth design and the careful selection of products on display, so that visitors can understand the brand’s direction from the moment they step in — not merely seeing products, but grasping where the tools are heading.
Specialized Tools Focused on Each Trade
A key strategy for DEWALT over the past one to two years has been a sharper focus on specialized tools tailored to specific trades — from electricians, air conditioning technicians, and carpenters, to general contractors and automotive mechanics — designing tools that precisely address the unique demands of each profession.
Popular examples include nail guns, wall chasers for conduit and cable routing, vacuum pumps for air conditioning and electrical work, and automotive tools such as long-reach wrenches. Many of these products emerged directly from requests by real-world users and have been developed to run on DEWALT’s battery system, building a comprehensive and interconnected tool ecosystem.

Tool Technology That Elevates Safety and Quality of Life for Professionals
DEWALT believes that quality of life for professional tradespeople begins with tools that are safe and efficient to use. Battery-powered tool technology therefore plays an unavoidable role in enhancing safety, well-being, and mobility on the job site.
The shift from fuel-powered or corded tools to cordless alternatives reduces fumes, lowers noise, and eliminates the risks associated with power cables and electric shock — creating a safer and more organized working environment. At the same time, tools that are lightweight, produce minimal vibration, and are designed for prolonged use help reduce user fatigue, enabling tradespeople to work longer and more effectively over time.

Long-Term Value in a Price-Competitive Market
In an economic climate where low-cost imported products are entering the market, Mr. Jarin acknowledges that this does influence purchasing decisions among certain customer groups — particularly those just starting out with limited budgets. However, for DEWALT, the impact remains manageable, as the brand positions itself at a price point that represents genuine value when performance, durability, warranty coverage, and after-sales service are taken into account.
From conversations with real users, many have found that investing in a reliable battery system enables their teams to work faster, with less fatigue, take on more jobs, and operate more safely — delivering long-term value that far outweighs the initial purchase price.
DEWALT Highlights at Architect’26
For Architect’26, DEWALT is set to present a range of specialized tool innovations covering multiple trades, with a booth layout that reflects the full picture of tools across each work section — giving visitors a clear and practical view of the tools available for each trade.
Another exciting highlight is the special DEWALT x McLaren Special Edition — a co-branding collaboration that DEWALT has launched twice previously. This year, an additional special edition has been developed to celebrate McLaren’s success in the most recent F1 season. The Special Edition will be on display and available for purchase at the event, giving DEWALT fans and McLaren enthusiasts a chance to experience it up close.

Mr. Jarin expects visitor traffic this year to be at least on par with previous years. He has also observed that since DEWALT began participating in the Architect exhibition consistently, other tool brands have increasingly joined the event year after year — a clear sign that the Architect exhibition has become a significant destination for the tools and equipment zone, and a platform that genuinely reaches the right audience.
DEWALT invites professional tradespeople, contractors, and anyone with an interest in world-class tool innovation to explore its specialized tools, battery system, and the latest Special Edition at Booth L103, Architect’26—the 38th THE ASEAN’S LARGEST BUILDING TECHNOLOGY EXPOSITION taking place from April 28 – May 3, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM at IMPACT Challenger Hall 1–3, Muang Thong Thani.
