PODIUM Elevates the Standard of Solid Wood Furniture at Architect’26

PODIUM has grown from a foundation rooted in solid wood furniture — one that prioritizes materials, structure, and craftsmanship-level detail over treating furniture as mere interior decoration. A deep understanding of wood’s natural character — from grain patterns and surface texture to production processes — is the core principle the brand has upheld and continuously developed, ensuring that its designs are not only beautiful from day one, but endure in both quality and aesthetic over the long term.

For Mr. Charanwat Maoleekulpiroj, Chairman and CEO of Podium Home Center Co., Ltd., the Architect exhibition is a platform that opens dialogue with those who genuinely shape the direction of projects — architects, interior designers, and project developers — all of whom take a long-term view of design. Conversations at the booth therefore extend well beyond pricing, branching into exchanges about materials, structure, function, and the suitability of designs for each specific context of use.

Elevating the Dining Experience with the ENSO SERIES

One of this year’s key highlights is the Dining Sofa and Round Table from the ENSO SERIES, part of the NEORIENT collection. This range was developed from a vision of transforming the “dining table” from a space purely for eating into the central hub of a variety of activities within the home — from socializing and conversation to relationship-building and everyday work.

A standout detail of the ENSO Dining Sofa lies in its internal structure, manufactured using a CNC system that ensures precision before the layered foam upholstery process — a proprietary production technique of PODIUM. This attention to detail gives the ENSO SERIES the qualities of a truly comfortable dining sofa: firm support, no sagging, and a seat height perfectly suited for dining. It has garnered significant interest among designers.

Real Wood Kitchens, the PODIUM Way

In kitchen design, solid wood remains the primary material through which PODIUM expresses its brand philosophy. Kitchen spaces are therefore developed not merely for function, but as environments that make the value of natural materials clearly visible.

The appeal of solid wood goes beyond aesthetics — it lies in the unique grain pattern of each individual piece and a surface texture that communicates naturalness in the most direct way. These qualities create an experience that operates at a level deeper than visual perception, from the feel of a cabinet door to the overall atmosphere of the space.

This year, the BLOC SMITH KITCHEN modular kitchen system has been elevated further with the introduction of a stainless steel countertop in a “Made to Measure” format — fully customizable in size and configuration to fit the actual space — developed in collaboration with Barazza, Italian specialists in stainless steel craftsmanship. The partnership enhances the kitchen environment in terms of material quality, workmanship detail, and a distinctly premium ambiance.

Technology for Speed — Without Replacing Material Understanding

In an era where AI and digital tools play an increasingly prominent role, PODIUM has chosen to adopt technology to accelerate the design process — from initial floor plan layouts and rendering through to direct data transfer to the factory — helping clients visualize outcomes more quickly and assess budgets more efficiently.

At the same time, while technology enhances both precision and speed, PODIUM remains deeply committed to craftsmanship. Quality work does not rely on tools alone — it requires experience, skill, and a profound understanding of materials: in selecting the right wood, evaluating structural considerations, and making the fine adjustments that real-world conditions demand.

Material Standards with Occupant Health in Mind

Beyond design and structure, material quality is another area PODIUM takes seriously — particularly in kitchen work, which is intimately involved in daily life. Material selection is therefore considered not only for its aesthetic value but also for its impact on the indoor environment.

Internal structures use E1 grade materials — both HMR and MDF — to keep formaldehyde emissions at low levels, while surface coatings and finishes are F4 STARS grade, reducing both odor and chemical off-gassing. Drawer interiors are coated with food-grade natural oil to preserve the natural wood surface feel and avoid microplastic contamination — reflecting a genuine commitment to the long-term health of users.

Come and Discover Standards and Quality That Must Be Experienced Firsthand at Architect’26

At this year’s Architect’26, PODIUM returns to reaffirm its position as a Premium Designer Furniture brand that comprehensively addresses the needs of modern interior design spaces. The showcase spans freestanding furniture — with particular emphasis on dining area pieces, one of the brand’s core specializations — through to cabinetmaker-style built-in cabinetry for kitchens and wardrobes from the BLOC SMITH collection. These pieces go beyond precision proportions and smart storage systems, standing out for their “feeling” — the tactile quality and grain patterns of the woodwork that deliver an overall impression that is premium, warm, and reflective of quality from every angle.

Visitors are welcome to explore PODIUM’s work at Booth S105, Architect’26—the 38th THE ASEAN’S LARGEST BUILDING TECHNOLOGY EXPOSITION taking place from April 28 – May 3, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM at IMPACT Challenger Hall 1–3, Muang Thong Thani.
