Transforming Interior Finishes with Water Transfer Printing Technology by Thai Systech Kyowa at Architect’26

This year marks the second appearance of Thai Systech Kyowa Co., Ltd. at Architect Expo. Following the strong success and positive feedback received during their debut last year, the company is returning with new innovations and an expanded vision for the Thai design and construction market.

In an interview, Mr. Tsutomu Takemori, Managing Director, shared the company’s direction and commitment to bringing advanced Japanese manufacturing quality to Thailand—along with several new products that will be showcased for the first time at Architect’.

A Trusted Name in Japan for Over 30 Years—Now Ready for Thailand

Thai Systech Kyowa specializes in the production of high-quality plastic components and furniture fittings from Japan, offering a complete One Stop Service that includes:

  • 2D–3D design
  • Mold development
  • Plastic injection
  • Painting
  • Water Transfer Printing
  • Assembly and delivery

All processes follow strict Japanese quality standards under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Historically, the company focused almost entirely on exporting products back to Japan. But after joining Architect’68 and receiving enthusiastic responses from Thai architects and designers, Thai Systech Kyowa has begun expanding more seriously into Thailand—especially among real-estate developers, furniture manufacturers, and ASEAN design communities.

“We want designers and contractors in Thailand to discover our capabilities.
For over 30 years we have worked almost 100% with Japan, but this year we aim to increase our visibility and create more collaboration opportunities in Thailand and across ASEAN,”
said Mr. Takemori.

Combining OEM Expertise with New Technology to Enter the Thai Market

Thai Systech Kyowa continues to serve as a customized OEM manufacturer, working closely with clients through an in-house 2D/3D design team and product development specialists — a key advantage that allows the company to deliver precise, high-quality results.

Regarding AI, Mr. Takemori explained that while the company is not using AI in deep technical operations yet, they have started adopting it for design assistance, customer insight analysis, and educational communication to help Thai users better understand their products. This approach also supports brand awareness as the company builds a stronger presence in the Thai market.

Designing with Well-being in Mind: Safe Materials for Healthier Living

Since their products are often used in residential environments—such as furniture, cabinet fronts, walls, and areas frequently touched—safety for occupants is a top priority.

Their materials follow Japanese standards to ensure:

  • No harmful chemicals
  • No unpleasant odors
  • No hazardous emissions
  • Safe for humans, children, and pets

With production processes certified under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, their components are durable, reduce waste, and require minimal maintenance. The company is also researching bio-plastic materials to further minimize long-term environmental impact.

Expanding Creative Possibilities with Water Transfer Printing

One of Thai Systech Kyowa’s core strengths is the ability to support designers through a complete, end-to-end OEM process—from idea development and 2D/3D design to mold creation, injection molding, painting, film coating, assembly, and delivery.

Their Water Transfer Printing technology allows complex-shaped products to be wrapped with surface patterns smoothly and beautifully, something that traditional printing cannot achieve. This expands design freedom and elevates construction and interior finishing standards across the industry.

Raising the Bar for Interior Fittings at Architect’26

Building on their momentum from Architect’68, Thai Systech Kyowa will showcase real product samples, new fittings, and live demonstrations at Architect’69. Highlights include:

  • Corner Cap
Specially designed for skirting board joints to eliminate angled cutting, ensuring cleaner installation and saving time and labor.
  • Handle Collection
Minimalist yet durable handles designed for smooth and comfortable use.
  • Push to Open System
A heavy-duty mechanism offering precise and reliable opening and closing.
  • Blind Caster (Japanese export innovation)
A hidden caster system that allows furniture to move effortlessly without visible wheels — showcased in Thailand for the first time.
  • Lockable Door Stopper
A uniquely designed Japanese-style stopper that locks doors firmly, preventing impacts from wind or force — unlike typical stoppers in the market.
  • Water Transfer Printing Showcase
Real samples coated through water-based film transfer, demonstrating durability and aesthetic enhancement across various components.

Attendees are invited to explore all innovations firsthand at at Booth D305/1, Architect’26 – ASEAN’s Largest Building Technology Exposition, held from 28 April – 3 May 2026, 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM at Challenger Hall 1–3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.
