UNILAMP Introduces Lighting Innovation that Elevates the “Quality of Light” at Architect’26

In architecture, light is not merely an element that makes a space visible. It is a critical component that shapes atmosphere, conveys emotion, and expresses the identity of architecture across time, especially in outdoor environments where conditions are constantly exposed to real-world elements.

Suchart Ungpanichkul, Managing Director of UNILAMP Co., Ltd., believes that outdoor lighting fixtures should be developed as more than sources of illumination. They must function as integral elements that work harmoniously with architecture and landscape over the long term.

This perspective forms the foundation of UNILAMP’s development philosophy, grounded in the belief that quality must be built from the very beginning. This includes engineering design, material selection, internal structure, manufacturing processes, and quality control before delivery. In outdoor applications, even the smallest error can lead to significant long-term costs.

This approach is reflected in the brand’s core concept, “Lighting That Lasts Decades, Not Years.” This statement goes beyond product lifespan. It represents lighting design that sustains its value in terms of technology, design, and environmental impact.

Experiencing Light Through Real Interaction

For UNILAMP, Architect’26 serves as a key platform to communicate the quality of light through real experience under the concept “Experience the Lightscape.”

The brand believes that light should not be understood through numbers or specifications alone. It should be perceived through direct interaction in environments that closely resemble real architectural contexts.

The UNILAMP booth is therefore designed as a simulated environment where visitors can walk through and experience light naturally. This includes the quality of the beam, softness of illumination, visual comfort, and the atmosphere that light can create in nighttime environments. The goal is to demonstrate how well-designed lighting influences architecture in real-life experience.

One of this year’s highlights is the launch of PRIMUS, a new lighting fixture specifically developed for outdoor applications. It emphasizes structural strength, environmental durability, and precise beam control, ensuring stable performance and long-term quality.

In addition, UNILAMP introduces Mini VAREE, a premium underwater lighting solution designed for pools and fountains. It supports white light in a color temperature range of 2700K to 4000K, as well as RGBW systems, with precise beam angle control. The fixture is constructed from grade 316 stainless steel combined with anti-corrosion polymers, along with moisture protection systems and safety standards for underwater use. It also includes thermal protection that automatically shuts down the system when temperatures exceed safe limits, ensuring consistent performance and durability over time.

At the same time, the concept of UniModification plays a central role in product development. Instead of relying on fixed product specifications, this approach allows lighting fixtures to be adapted to suit each design. Adjustable elements include beam angles, installation methods, and technical configurations, enabling lighting to integrate seamlessly with architecture and reflect the designer’s intent more accurately.

Within the booth, visitors can also interact with lighting through the CASAMBI wireless control system. This allows real-time adjustment of brightness, color tone, and spatial atmosphere, clearly demonstrating how precisely controlled lighting can transform the experience of the same space.

Quality Begins with the Smallest Details

UNILAMP’s primary users include architects, lighting designers, engineers, and project developers, all of whom prioritize consistency in quality and the reduction of post-installation risks.

To address real-world challenges in outdoor applications, UNILAMP has developed proprietary technologies under the UniSeries, including UniShield16, UniBreath, and UniBlock. These systems focus on moisture protection, heat dissipation, and material durability.

Equally important are the small details that define long-term quality, such as structural integrity, assembly precision, and lighting consistency. These factors directly influence performance after installation.

Light and Its Role in Wellness and the Environment

Although UNILAMP develops lighting products, the company views light as more than illumination. Within the context of Wellness Architecture, light plays a crucial role in supporting physical comfort, mental well-being, and long-term quality of life.

From a human perspective, lighting is designed to enhance visual comfort by reducing glare and controlling color temperature appropriately. This allows users to feel relaxed, safe, and naturally connected to their surroundings.

From an environmental perspective, lighting fixtures are developed to control light direction precisely, minimizing unnecessary light dispersion, especially upward light spill. This aligns with DarkSky principles, which aim to reduce light pollution and maintain balance between architecture, nature, and surrounding ecosystems.

Another key concept is UniGreen, which reflects UNILAMP’s commitment to sustainability across all stages. This includes selecting environmentally responsible materials, improving coating and production processes to extend product lifespan, and developing UniLock packaging to reduce plastic usage while enhancing transportation safety.

Together, these approaches demonstrate that for UNILAMP, light is not merely a design element, but part of the broader ecosystem of architecture that must consider users, the environment, and long-term sustainability.

Light as the Language of Architecture

UNILAMP sees light as a fundamental element in shaping spatial atmosphere, whether in residential spaces, hotels, resorts, landscapes, or landmark projects. Lighting can convey emotion, enhance safety, and create meaningful long-term experiences.

The company’s role therefore extends beyond being a manufacturer of outdoor lighting. UNILAMP positions itself as a Lighting Partner, working closely with architects and designers through expertise in landscape lighting, architectural lighting, and underwater lighting.

This is supported by an in-house team of lighting designers who provide both technical and conceptual guidance, ensuring that lighting design is fully realized in practice.

At the same time, UNILAMP contributes to the growth of the industry through training and knowledge-sharing initiatives such as Dialux Training, as well as collaborations with academic institutions. These efforts aim to support students and create opportunities for exchange between emerging designers and professionals.

This approach reflects UNILAMP’s commitment to supporting and advancing the lighting design industry in a sustainable way.

Experience Lighting Innovation from UNILAMP at Architect’26

UNILAMP invites architects, lighting designers, engineers, and project developers to experience a new dimension of outdoor lighting design through a space where light becomes a language in itself.

Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with the CASAMBI control system, explore new products including PRIMUS and Mini VAREE, and understand the UniModification concept that enables flexible and project-specific lighting design.

Visit UNILAMP at Booth L404/1 at Architect’26, the largest architecture technology and construction product exhibition in ASEAN, held from April 28 to May 3, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, at Challenger Hall 1–3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.
