Häfele Brings a Complete Living Solutions Lineup to Its Thematic Pavilion at Architect’26

Häfele, the German hardware and architectural solutions brand, continues its steady evolution toward becoming a leading provider of products and equipment for homes and buildings — with an unwavering commitment to quality, functional standards, and comprehensive service.

In Thailand, Häfele is recognized as a brand that delivers truly complete living solutions, spanning furniture fittings, hardware for homes and buildings, sanitary ware, home appliances, lighting systems, and smart technology — all integrated into a unified, whole-home system.

Returning to Architect’26, Ms.Saowanee Sermsupakornwong, Sales Director of Häfele (Thailand) Co., Ltd., explains that the brand’s goal this time is not simply to present products — but to elevate its communication through a Thematic Pavilion format that reframes living as a “solution” rather than a collection of individual items.

From “Products” to a “Solution” That Connects the Entire Living System

Häfele’s core positioning is to view products not as isolated pieces, but as components that work together as a complete, integrated system.

With a portfolio spanning six key living categories — Hardware, Furniture Fitting, Sanitary, Appliance, Lighting, and Smart Technology — the brand is equipped to design a seamless user experience that connects everything from the front door to the furniture inside. Every system is genuinely linked and operable together in daily life — not merely a technological concept.

Whether it is a smart system that integrates the entire home, a lighting system designed not just to illuminate but to create atmosphere and mood, or fitting hardware that works in harmony with furniture to meet diverse functional needs — all of this reflects Häfele’s ambition to move beyond selling products, toward becoming a true co-designer of the living experience alongside users and design professionals.

Thematic Pavilion: Redefining How Häfele Is Perceived

Participating in the Thematic Pavilion this year is a deliberate decision to shift the brand’s image — from conventional product display to storytelling through a space with a clear and purposeful concept.

Ms. Saowanee explains that after a period away from the exhibition circuit, this return is Häfele’s opportunity to make a genuine difference — not by presenting individual products, but by showing how every element works together as a cohesive solution, and by reinforcing the brand’s role as a leader in designing and developing solutions for projects of all scales.

This vision was brought to life through a collaboration with the design team at Jenchieh Hung + Kulthida Songkittipakdee / HAS Design and Research, who translated the “product system” into a “spatial experience” — one that visitors can walk through, interact with, and intuitively understand, without the need for complex explanations.

The pavilion is therefore not merely an exhibition space, but a platform through which Häfele is seen in an entirely new light — as a brand that meaningfully connects technology, design, and living into one integrated whole.

When a Small Space Becomes a Complete Solution

One of the standout highlights of the Häfele Pavilion is the Co-Creation and Co-Engineering Space — a simulation of a compact but fully functional living environment, built around the concept: “Maximising the value of space. Together.”

The right products and innovations, thoughtfully integrated into a design, embody the idea of co-creation between the brand, its partners, and end users — developing solutions that address the real challenges of living within limited space, with genuine efficiency.

Within a 20-square-metre model space, every essential living function is accounted for — kitchen, bathroom, and multipurpose living area — designed not merely by stacking elements together, but through systematic thinking: from spatial planning and functional connectivity, to selecting the right solution for every single point of use.

Häfele’s Co-Creation and Co-Engineering approach is present from the very beginning of the design process through to the development of real solutions — including concealed sliding door systems, fitting systems that maximize storage potential, multipurpose fixtures, and thoughtful details that make every movement within the space feel effortless.

This space is therefore not simply a model of compact living — it is a reflection of a collaborative thinking process that transforms spatial limitations into better design opportunities.

For architects and designers, it offers a new perspective on working with constrained spaces: not just fitting in functions, but designing an entire system of use that operates efficiently and opens new possibilities for the future of living.

Innovation, Inspiration, and the Direction of Future Living

Beyond its existing product range, Häfele also presents emerging innovation concepts currently in development — designed to inspire designers and users alike.

What is on display is therefore not only “what is currently sold”, but also “what is about to come” — reflecting the brand’s forward direction across both Smart Living (connecting every system seamlessly) and the development of solutions that address real, everyday needs with increasing precision.

At the same time, the brand places strong emphasis on sustainability and user wellbeing — selecting durable, long-lasting materials and developing products to meet international standards at every stage. All of this reflects Häfele’s design philosophy of thinking long-term, rather than simply answering short-term demands.

A Structure Built With Its Next Life in Mind

Another key concept behind Häfele’s pavilion is designing the structure to remain useful long after the exhibition ends.

The structural elements are designed as a Modular System — fully disassemblable and reassemblable — whether for use in the Häfele Design Studio or other venues. Materials were also selected specifically for their recyclability and potential for reuse, minimizing waste from the design stage itself.

The Zero Waste principle here is not a branding gesture — it is a foundational condition of the Thematic Pavilion’s design, built in from the very start.

Experience Häfele Beyond the Product

For Häfele, participation in Architect’26 is not an invitation to simply browse products as one would at a conventional booth. It is an invitation to see and experience the “complete picture of a solution” — one that connects every element of living into a coherent, integrated system.

Architects, designers, and project developers will gain a fresh perspective on how materials, equipment, and technology can work together to create spaces that are both more efficient and of higher quality.

The pavilion also features concept presentations, real-world applications, and new innovations — including a Lighting range making its Thailand debut for the first time — reflecting the brand’s direction to expand the boundaries of design into a far richer “experience” than ever before.

If you want to see how the future of living can be connected into one unified system, Häfele invites you to come explore the Thematic Pavilion for yourself.
