“Tum Tad” is a local dish originating from Som Tum, a popular local dish in the Northeast Thailand, with a strong flavor that is sour, salty, spicy, and flavorful. Tum Tad can be served in a variety of ways, including Thai style, crab salad, crab salad with pickled fish, and so on.

“Tum Tad” is a fusion of different ingredients classified by personal preference.   Shrimp, pork sausage, pork neck, boiled egg, salted egg, scrambled eggs, crab sticks, salmon, wagyu beef, lamb, crispy pork, ham, and many more can be included. Different restaurants may provide various options of ingredients.

“TUM TAD”, Full of Architectural Flavor

Thai architects’ work flow directly relates to Thai society and culture.  So, what’s the most important thing to represent Thainess as well as connecting people together?  Under the concept of “Eating culture”, “Tum Tad” has finally won the concept title winner among over a hundred competitors.

The reason for choosing “Tum Tad” is because it represents the combination of all disciplines of the architect profession, as well as the collaboration among different professions. “Architect’23” will be an effective platform for professionals and others who are interested in architecture to share knowledge and experiences in order to help improve personality and work flow for the best benefit of all.

This is the first time ever that the exposition has five co-organizing chairmen from five professional associations:

  • The Association of Siamese Architects Under Royal Patronage (ASA)
  • Thailand Interior Designers’ Association (TIDA)
  • Thai Association of Landscape Architects (TALA)
  • Thai Urban Designers Association (TUDA)
  • Architect Council of Thailand (ACT)

It is yet another new type of work that illustrates the concept of collaboration across all professions… It’s like flavorful ingredients cooked creatively for the best Tum Tad menu.

“TUM TAD” and its crucial mission on a planet called “Earth”

An important gathering of four professions specializing in environmental design for the important mission of building a society and a more sustainable world, similar to the word “Tum,” which means that a variety of ingredients are mixed to satisfy diners’ preferences. At this time, the diner refers to the world and society in need of change in the face of several challenges in the century.

“Tum” has interesting new ingredients this time, which are a body of knowledge and innovation seasoned with expertise and collaboration that is mixed with science and art by designers from all four architectural fields who must work together to create a better society and world for everyone.
