Cyber Lock and the end-user market
With Cyber Lock’s years of experience in developing locking mechanism systems, more than 90% of its customer base is furniture manufacturing factories. It is now shifting its target to a new customer base to increase more opportunities in the market. Khun Nattharat gave reasons for expanding the market to the end-user group that, “Cyber Lock is a brand of keys for locking furniture, whether wooden or steel furniture, or safes and electrical cabinets. Most of them use the company’s products. This year, we want to present more innovations that apply to home door systems. Therefore, we plan to expand our customer group to end-users. Customers who are end-users can choose to purchase and install the products by themselves.”
Digital lock to be debut at Architect’24
With more advanced technology, innovations created during the present era often remove unnecessary functions. The same is true for the key system. Khun Nattharat sees that, “the new generation doesn’t like to carry a bunch of key, unlike the old folks. The brand therefore sees locking and opening furniture drawers, cabinets, or doors in the home as a digital system. It will help provide more convenience.”
Khun Nattharat added that, “Cyber Lock has plans to develop products in several models, with locking system via phone, application and scanning.”
Durable, classic, high quality: definition of a lock from Cyber Lock
Even though there are plans to digitize more products, for some locks, Cyber Lock stays true to the classic and uses the key system. “The brand recognizes the different needs of each group of customers. Some may like the digital system. Some may still like the conventional one. The brand gives importance to the latter by choosing to use quality materials to make the keys.”
Sustainability that comes with innovative development
Cyber Lock is another brand that emphasizes parallel development in every aspect. Despite the advancement of innovation to be more modern, another thing the brand is committed to is product development with environmental conservation. “The brand already places importance on sustainability. If we speak in general terms, the product development is directly related to environmental conservation, including the invention of locks in digital form to reduce key making or even using brass or zinc to make locks or keys, which will make them more durable and last longer so that you don’t have to change often, thereby reducing the production process. In addition, Cyber Lock plans to use recycled plastic as a component in the locking mechanism.”
