SCG presents highlighted innovations in response to 3 trends of living: SPACE – SMART – SUSTAINABILITY at Architect’24

     When talking about turn-key solution brands in the construction and housing industry, SCG-Thailand’s largest industrial conglomerate is a household name known among both inner and outer circles. At Architect’24, SCG is fully prepared to showcase 10 famous brands in construction and housing by presenting highlight innovations in response to 3 trends: SPACE – SMART – SUSTAINABILITY, focusing on improving the quality of life and residence on an exhibition area of more than 800 m2.

“Forward into Future Living”: SCG’s main concept

     SCG comes with the concept of ‘Forward into Future Living’ which is the main theme of this event. It is aimed at elevating the building industry and creating living space to meet both design and lifestyle. This is achieved by using technology to design and develop products with superior special properties, both in terms of design, variety, durability and environmental friendliness, in line with sustainability trends. Because SCG’s solution products are not just part of building materials, they must also meet the design needs of current and future living spaces.

Answer the needs of SPACE – SMART – SUSTAINABILITY

     SPACE: Many may wonder how materials can help create space. The WINDSOR brand holds the answer with a new sliding door system ‘SIGNATURE PRO’ with a width of up to 5.6 meters and a height of up to 3 meters, independently connecting the interior to exterior space, connecting relaxation area both inside and outside the home. Another brand that is a highlight of SPACE is ShinkoLite, a premium translucent acrylic sheet, with a fin & shade function that takes into account the use of heat protection, sunlight filtering. It ensures the space looks airy and comfortable, while maintaining privacy. With ShinkoLite’s special properties in light filtering and heat-cutting, it is perfect as a connection between space inside and outside the house.

     SMART TECHNOLOGY: Presently, there are more and more technological devices for home living, so there is a transition from materials to become solutions. An obvious example is the roof. When talking about roofs today, their function is not just to offer protection against sunlight or rain. Roofs can generate electricity with SCG Solar Roof Solution, a solution that makes living space energy efficient and is another way to reduce global warming.

     Nowadays, PM 2.5 is a critical issue. Some models use up to 80% recycled materials, as well as new versions of water-saving sanitary ware and faucets. CPAC Green Solution offers limitless creative innovation with CPAC 3D Printing Solution made from low-carbon cement. It was used in the construction of a two-story building, which marked Thailand’s first time such feat was achieved.

     This includes facade that has several functions, such as SCG Modeena Coff, a fiber cement material that contains up to 48% recycled materials, including coffee grounds, answering questions in design and SUSTAINABILTY.

     Other brands in the SCG group such as Tiger, QCON and HomeSmile home renovation service, as well as new products and services, are ready to be launched for the first time at the event.
